Southern Pacific steam engine SP number 2225. Research indicates that it is a Cooke built 4-6-0. Originally built for the Central Pacific as CPRR 2225. This is a scan of a photograph that was located in the archives at the Churchill County Museum in Fallon Nevada. It is a great place to visit if you are in town! Picture date is approximate. |
